Masters Games of Alabama is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles for active adults 55 and over through social, mental, and physical activities.  The events include:

  • Bowling
  • Checkers
  • Dominoes (Singles and Doubles)
  • Frisbee and Nerfball Throw
  • Golf (Singles, Doubles, and Pitch & Put)
  • Horseshoes
  • Rook  
  • Shuffleboard
  • Softball Throw
  • Swimming (Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle)
  • Table Tennis
  • Tennis (Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles)

Golf will be played at Blackberry Golf Course in Florence, AL on October 6th - 7th, 2008.  For all other events, you must qualify at District Games to compete at the State Games held in Florence, AL October 7th - 9th, 2008.
