EAST ALABAMA COOPERATIVE PURCHASING ASSOCIATION
The East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission serves as the host agency for the East Alabama Cooperative Purchasing Association (EACPA).Membership is available to entities within Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Randolph, Talladega, and Tallapoosa Counties. Other governmental entities, school systems, and non-profits within this region may elect to participate and join this cooperative.
The objective of the EACPA is to work toward cooperative relationships among its members for the purpose of joint bidding which will result in lower costs to the participants on commonly used commodities, lower administrative cost, promote interchange of information on purchasing problems, and advance purchasing professionalism through the exchange of ideas and experiences.
